LED Lighting Manufacturers Unveiled Innovations at the 30th Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE 2025)
The Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE 2025) officially opened on June 9, drawing lighting professionals from around the world to this major LED industry event.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of GILE, with the theme “360°+1: Illuminating Infinity – A Step toward the Future of Light” reflecting the LED industry’s push for innovation amid new challenges and development bottlenecks.
This year, LED companies across the supply chain—such as MLS, Luminus, Everlight, Xuyu, Hongli, Shenzhen MTC, Leyard, Nationstar, Aucksun, TORSHARE, Apexls (Ledman), LEDVANCE, Pak, Bridgelux, Signify, Foshan Lighting, SUNPU, CITIZEN (CITILED), ONEN, and Caimeta—unveiled new products that enhance performance and extend applications to automotive, horticulture, healthy, and aviation lighting, aiming to unlock new market growth for LED lighting and allow LED technologies to benefit more industries.
Healthy and Smart Lighting
Luminus showcased high-performance COB components, dimmable solutions, and high- and mid-power series. The energy-efficient, reliable COB models suit diverse applications—from commercial venues like hotels and museums to residential settings—offering tunable lighting that enhances comfort and color presentation.

LEDVANCE exhibited products such as a rosy light spotlight, clothing light, pendant, dining, and beauty lights. The spotlight features a low-power, second-gen light source with proprietary FP ratio tech for precise optical control and smooth gradient transitions. Its superior color tolerance meets professional design standards.

The clothing light features a low-power, third-gen four-wave spectrum source, using multi-spectral chip mixing to enhance color rendering and garment depth.
Additionally, LEDVANCE’s dining lights provide professional-grade high-CRI light sources, using an efficient LED lighting system to present the true colors of food.
The company also displayed a high-end lighting product with a CRI of 90R and luminous efficacy reaching 200–220 lumens per watt (lm/W). This model addresses the core issue of moisture sensitivity in KSF phosphor powder through special coating technology and high-precision centrifugal sedimentation, resulting in high color stability, minimal color shift, and ultra-high luminous efficiency.
CITIZEN (CITILED), a market leader in lighting COB LEDs, presented upgraded products including the Type-F series for improved light spots and uniformity, the high-CRI UQ series for museum lighting, and a 1200K amber COB for ambient use. The latest Type-F, with a 2.4mm LES and CRI 97, supports spotlight miniaturization.

Additionally, according to research from TrendForce, to reduce SKUs for lighting distributors and wholesalers, dual-color tunable mixed-light COB LED products are gradually gaining market acceptance, especially in China and North America. As a result, many international package manufacturers have launched tunable white COB LEDs over the past two years.
Hongli showcased full-spectrum SMD/COB products for healthy lighting, using chip-scale packaging to simulate natural light shifts (2700K–6500K). Paired with intelligent systems, they offer low blue light (400–500nm range, accounting less than 0.6% of total output) and meet key spectral standards, making them ideal for desk lamps, downlights, and spotlights.

Nationstar developed full-spectrum healthy lighting technology that mimics natural light by expanding into infrared and violet bands, achieving blue light hazard exemption and leading color rendering and saturation levels.
For circadian lighting, it offered intelligent lighting solutions: the Empowerment version enhances alertness by simulating daylight and suppressing melatonin secretion, while the Comfort Sleep version reduces blue light and boosts warm light to support better sleep.
The elderly-friendly lighting solution features low-blue, high-red designs to improve visual clarity. By reducing short-wavelength blue light, the solution slows lens yellowing and enhances red light wavelengths for better visual clarity.
In smart lighting, Nationstar launched plug-and-play single-color LEDs, the dual-color temperature white EMC3030 with seamless tuning and independent leads—suited for indoor and smart home use, and a multi-color component enabling unlimited color control.

The company also exhibited RGB display components, backlight modules, and photocouplers.
Xuyu introduced a globally patented, multi-band full-spectrum LED for healthy lighting, combining advanced optical design, materials science, and intelligent control. Using proprietary color-mixing algorithms and dynamic dimming, the product bridges lab research and real-world use, especially in settings requiring high color accuracy like museums, premium displays, and interior design.
Regarding smart light sources, Xuyu launched its flagship Blue-free Golden Light LED series, featuring proprietary technology that limits the blue light content to 0.1%, with tunable color temperatures from 1800K to 2500K and a CRI over 80, perfectly replicating natural light. The products deliver 200 lm/W luminous efficacy and support intelligent day-night rhythm switching, providing efficient white light during the day and soft golden light at night to ensure sleep quality and reduce dry eye risk. With 99.5% color purity and strong fog penetration, the series also suits outdoor lighting.
